The 27th April 2025 was a significant day in the life of the Dobsonville congregation. Since it’s establishment 2 years ago, it has been undertaken to have the congregation formally commissioned within the Lutheran family. The 27th April 2025 was nothing short of being a step in the right direction.
On the day in question, the Bishop and his Churcg Counci executive paid the congregation an official visit. The entourage consisted of,
1. Bishop Sithole.
2. Deputy Bishop Rev Sebeelo
3. SG Mr. Mosenogi
4. Treasurer Ms Ngwenya
5. Dean Mogoshane
6. Mr. Molefe lay- delegates
The DC leadership present was

2. Mr Molefe lay delegate
3. And Mr Montwedi the GD. Treasurer
We were honored by the presence of emeritus Bishop Maragelo
The guests of honor we invited who played a pivotal role in the existence of the congregation were,
Mr. Tabane, Ms. Matsaba, and Mr B Rammusa, who right at the inception phase, contributed towards the establishment of the Dobsonville congregation. As a congregation, we are eternally indebted to their generosity. It is our pray that God bless them immensely in every area of their lives. God bless.
The celebration ended up with a lunch meeting between the congregational leadership, the DC, Bishop, and his CC executive. The meeting went exceptionally well withmits presentation of church responsibilities associated with a congregation. The Bishop was pleased as the establishment of Dobsonville congregation was perceived as an EXPANSION, which is in llifewith the vision of the new leadership.
The next to follow is the official commissioning of the Dobsonville congregation.
God is in control as he is the one who grows HIS CHURCH.
