Often than not, we as parishioners, we think that we are capable of building God`s house. We believe at times that we have what it takes for us to build HIS church. We are nothing short of being enablers who enable the process of building, but ownership is and will never be us. We are entrusted with the abilities to be able to use our God-given resources to streamline them for such undertaking. Beyond that, a church belongs to God.

As such, we cannot claim a church that we have built as, “Our Church” when our role was merely to lineup resource God has entrusted us with. The sacredness of the sanctuary of the Highest God, cannot be tinted by such personal claims of ownership as being a personal possession of those that have built the church. It remains the Lord`s holy sanctuary.

We ought to ensure that we keep it holy necessary and give the one who have blessed us with the abilities and resources to enable the building project, God, Himself! When we know that, even those, who were less fortunate to play pivotal role in the building of the church structure, will feel like home.

(Let us use any generic picture of any church building structure in this instance.}
